Data Sharing

The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) encourages authors to share the research data, materials, and supporting information underlying their published work to promote transparency, reproducibility, and scientific collaboration. The journal supports the data sharing recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors are encouraged to:

  • Share research data supporting the published findings.

  • Deposit datasets in recognized public or institutional repositories.

  • Include a Data Availability Statement in the manuscript.

  • Cite datasets using accepted data citation standards.

  • Explain any restrictions on data availability where applicable.

Data Availability

Where research data cannot be made publicly available due to ethical, legal, privacy, or confidentiality requirements, authors should clearly state the reason in the manuscript. The Editorial Office may request access to supporting data during the editorial or peer-review process when necessary to verify the reported findings.

Editorial Responsibility

The journal encourages responsible data sharing while respecting ethical, legal, and confidentiality obligations. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy of shared data and for protecting participant privacy. The Editorial Office reserves the right to request supporting data where appropriate to ensure the integrity and reproducibility of published research.
