The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) supports transparency, reproducibility, and the verification of scientific findings. The journal encourages authors to make the data, materials, methods, and supporting information underlying their research available whenever possible. We believe that research data citation through standard reference lists provides an effective way to support reproducible research and enhances the reliability of published studies.
Authors are encouraged to:
Share research data supporting the published findings.
Include a Data Availability Statement in the manuscript.
Cite datasets in the reference list using accepted standards.
Deposit data in recognized public or institutional repositories.
Provide sufficient methodological details to enable reproducibility.
Where data cannot be shared due to ethical, legal, privacy, or confidentiality restrictions, authors should clearly explain the reason within the manuscript. The Editorial Office or reviewers may request access to supporting data during the editorial or peer-review process where appropriate.
The journal promotes responsible data sharing and proper data citation to strengthen research transparency, reproducibility, and scientific integrity. Authors are expected to comply with the journal's data policies while protecting confidential information and participant privacy in accordance with COPE and ICMJE recommendations.
