The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All authors, reviewers, editors, and Editorial Board members are required to disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that could influence the submission, review, or publication of a manuscript.
Conflicts of interest may include:
Financial relationships or funding support.
Employment or institutional affiliations.
Consultancy or advisory positions.
Personal or professional relationships.
Patents or commercial interests.
Authors must include a Conflict of Interest Statement in every manuscript. Editors and reviewers must disclose any conflicts that could affect their impartiality and should recuse themselves from handling or reviewing manuscripts where such conflicts exist.
Authors should also:
Disclose all sources of funding.
Declare any competing financial or non-financial interests.
State if no conflicts of interest exist.
The Editorial Office may request additional disclosures where necessary. Failure to disclose relevant conflicts of interest may result in manuscript rejection, correction, or retraction in accordance with the recommendations of COPE and ICMJE. The journal is committed to maintaining transparency, objectivity, and integrity throughout the editorial and publication process.
